how can i reset my samsung galaxy from my computer?

i need to reset it cause i cant see anything on it.the screen is all kinds of colors. so thats why i need to reset it from my computer. Thank You

First try rebooting into recovery (look for recovery boot <your phone model> to find out how to do that - it involves pushing some buttons - power, home, volume, etc. at the same time.)

If that still doesn't work, install adb on your computer if you haven't already (Mini-SDK) and the driver for your phone (installed on your computer if you haven't already), and try using the adb reboot commands - adb reboot or adb reboot recovery.

If none of these things clear the screen up, one of three things has gone bad. In order of badness (least first) they are a loose connector from the screen, a bad screen or a bad motherboard. The phone will have to go to the shop in any case, but if it's the first problem, it's a fast and relatively cheap repair - no parts cost.
