volume down button is broken, can't go to recovery mode any alternative?

am using tmobile samsung s2 t989, the phone is stuck at 'samsung galaxy sII Android 4G' the logo when ever i try to boot the phone.

If you are rooted you can use the Quickboot app to get to recovery

Connect the phone to a computer with adb installed (Mini-SDK), and issue the command

adb reboot recovery
