Can you help figure out what's wrong with my Galaxy S II

Okay, I have a Samsung Galaxy S II that stop working suddenly.. it was at 55% when I plugged it in to get a little more charge. Noticed that the screen turned off so I was like yea it's charging and continued doing what I was doing. An hour later I pick up to try and turn on the screen, nothing. The back of the phone felt hot so I took out the battery few a few minutes, then re-inserted it, still nothing. I plugged it in and went to sleep. In the morning still no response.. Tried a different battery, still nothing.

help ;-;

Welcome to Android Central! Was the other battery completely charged up? After you insert that battery, plug the phone into a wall outlet for at least 4-6 hours, preferably 10-12 hours, without disturbing it. Then try powering on again. You might have to press and hold the Power button for 10-15 seconds.
