Samsung Galaxy S2 - Consumers Cellular, why can't I reply or forward emails?

Samsung Galaxy S2 - Consumers Cellular

I have an email account through Verizon that I set up on this phone. I can receive emails but cannot reply or forward. Need the correct incoming and outgoing settings for this phone.

Welcome to Android Central! Is Verizon the actual email provider, or were you just on Verizon when you set up this email account from some other email provider?
