Preicitive Text insterting work in wrong place?

Hello,

I have a Samsung S3 with Rogers that has a pridictive text problem when entering emails.
I am using the latest android pushed to my cell, Android 4.1.2, the samsung stock keyboard and samsung stock email app;
let's say a open a new email and start type the body of the email like this;

This is my new samsung galaxy s
iii phone I bought from rogers about
two monnths sgo or so.

so, I look at my email and see two word on the last line are incorrect. Using predictive text, I click on the word sgo and it suggest ago (and others),
I then select ago, highlighted in blue, and it does this;

I would ilke to add that if I touch and hold the word, then select the suggested word, it works.

it replace the s on the first line, not the sgo that was selected.

now I click on monnths, and i get this;

I have tried the same when texting someone and this is ok, no problems there.

I have tried "clear data" in both the keyboard and the samsung email app...no luck

I would like to use the stock keyboard/email but they are not working correctly as you can see.

Anyone else having the same problem? solutions?

I found it rather annoying that I couldn't get the stock Samsung keyboard to actually insert the word that was highlighted in blue without having to select it. So I just use SwiftKey: http://market.android.com/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey
