S3 mini lags during calls and navigation of menus?

anyone have any help my s3 mini has started to lag alot not just when navigating menus but also when answer calls there is like a 2 to 3 sec lag till the other person can hear me..when i do a battery pull it seems to go fine again for around a few days to a week then goes back to same issues..i have read about clearing cache might help?? (which have not done) and have hard reset 2 b4 which i dont wanna really do again any other suggestions before i return to provider which i dont want to really do as left with no phone for a few days
