Why is my phone coming on and the screen is black but the touch isn't responding?

my phone is coming on and the screen is black but the touch isnt responding

the phone fell while in its case it isnt cracked it is turning on all of the notifications are working but the screen is black and isnt responding to the touch anymore it is an s3 mini

Welcome to Android Central! The screen probably broke internally when you dropped it. Or maybe a connection just came loose. Regardless, you'll need to bring it to a repair shop to fix it, unless you're handy or experienced enough to try yourself.
