Phone connecting to PC, but I can't access any files, Why?

phone connecting to PC, but i can't access any files

I have a Samsung s3 mini. the memory is almost full, so I am trying to download photos to the pc.

I tried emailing them, and they wouldn't send.

so I plugged phone in to PC, and although the PC recognised that the phone was connected ( and is charging ) when I right click, it doesn't come up with any files just a blank box. I tried a different cable and all I got from that when I right clicked was 'eject'. now its not even doing that!

help!

Welcome to the forums. You might need to update drivers, do you have USB debugging enabled in developer settings? Also, do you have a screen lock? If so, you need to unlock it in order to access the phone.
