New GS3 design for South Korea

Thoughts? The screen looks bigger in that picture but probably isn't, and the bezel is smaller. It looks just like the GSII.

Less wasted space top & bottom is a nice price to pay in order to get an LTE version!

I like both. Just want US specs and an at&t release date.

Looking some more and that screen does look bigger. Or the phone is smaller.

The Korean version looks substantially better, wow.
I wish they'd gone with on-screen buttons, I really don't like the physical home button.

I think that the original rounded corner design is definately better. It just sets the GS3 apart and let's it look unique from all of the rectangular slabs out there.

I agree, really hoping that the ATT version is more rounded like the original release.

Anybody seen pics of the Japanese version? Wonder which way it looks. I remember reading it is thicker by a smidge. I would bet US versions with LTE will be closer to the Japanese version.
The Korean model was supposed to retain the Quad exynos and add a separate LTE radio. Probably why its different.

Doubt it was a style decision.

I think the us version does away with the physical button and has the standard 4 capacitive buttons. Which IMO is much better than the on screen buttons.

Na. Prefer the rounded look. Nice review, but it says that the s3 has twice the battery life of the OneX. Although i don't doubt the s3 battery life is better, thats is a little hard the believe.

I like the rounded more "flowing" look of the S3, but I do like the Korean version as well.

Maybe the screen is the same size and it is a tually just smaller? Maybe that's why its squared more, space at corners instead of rounded.

Looks more like someone in the US is tried of waiting and decided to play with photoshop some more.

Dimensions are just all wrong looking at that pic. Has to be a bad photoshop.

I can definitely see why you think that. The reflection on the home button and the shadowing on the ear piece is identical, as is the screen time, battery strenth, etc.

Didn't even think about it, but you are right. There is no Samsung branding either. What are the chances of that?

They both look hot to me, although i do like the hk version a bit more. The korean version seems to have a bigger screen.

And wow!!! on that same page of the link, it says sg3 has twice the battery life as the one x. If so, that is freakin' awesome stuff man.

Yeh Lorak, you got a point there. Maybe that accounts for the difference in screen size.

Agree (ajonesma) I like the UK GS3 Looks and Shape But think the screen is better 5" size on the Korean one. I would like to have the home button. Would be a different and new feature for us here in the US for the GS model fans. besides my pre I have own mostly Sammy phones and will stay with them. Either the note or GS3 on Sprint for me.
