    Default Email Notification Problems.

I am having problems trying to get the email notifications to work on my S3. I am sure I have set everything up properly. Anybody else had similar problems? Email Notification Problems.-uploadfromtaptalk1338822924663.jpg

It is on. It's not working for my other email account either.

Just to be clear this is the native email app not the Gmail app.

Why would you use the native email app and not the gmail app? With the gmail app, you can add multiple email addresses. Problem solved.

As I need it for my university email account and it's easier to have it all in one place rather than 2 separate Apps.

Makes sense. Try it with both in the gmail app and see what happens.

I have the same problem on my HTC one X, everything is set up properly and there is no way to get an e-mail notification on either of my accounts, gmail, yahoo and outlook account. This is really bad, as ex Iphone user I'm more than dissapointed with my android phone

Did you guys notice the email box below general settings in the settings menu, you select that for notifications and syncs. It is not in general settings.
