I'm not too familiar with Samsung's phones, but I am considering jumping to the Galaxy S III. Those of you Samsung fans out there, do you think this is a good phone to last me the duration of an entire contract? That's something I want in my next phone.

With good care (and some love) anything will last a long time. Get a screen protector and good case and you'll be good to go.

If I'm still using a Motorola Droid X almost 2 years later, that's saying alot. The build of the Samsung Galaxy S3 is damn good. I know we're talking about two different manufacturers, but still.

i still got my g2 for 2 1/2 and its been tru hell and back.

my girl & mom still have there Epic 4g they look brand new

The phone might last 2 years... but there is no way I can keep a smartphone for 2 years without getting the latest and greatest.

Thats just how I roll...

I wish I could upgrade more often, but its too costly Finally my Sprint contract is up, I can now upgrade.

I know how you feel. I tend to always want the best and fastest. I just got the S2 on release date last September and am already drooling over the S3.
