Different Micro-USB port on S3??

This article says:

"The Galaxy S3 has a different microUSB port than other Android devices, as the port’s pins have been rearranged. That means the Galaxy S3 will not work with standard MHL (Mobile High-definition Link) adapters, which let users connect smartphones that come with microUSB ports to big-screen TVs."

Does this mean standard Micro USB cords won't work with the S3?? If so, the 10+ cords will become useless- not cool.

Samsung Galaxy S III will use a different MHL to HDMI adapter

The theory is that the "USB" side of the port will still work as normal. The changes have to do with the media output.

That's the theory anyway. But I can't see Samsung using a non-standard USB interface.

In looking at the pictures online it is certainly difficult to tell if the pins are arranged differently. However, Samsung is going to be selling a wireless TV dongle for TV streaming and it works at a full 1080p, so take that for what it's worth.
