Re: US Presale Numbers?
Doubt they'll publish numbers until pre-orders are actually over.

Re: US Presale Numbers?
Maybe next week. Pre-ordering ends on the 20th. But we do know that Sprints 32gb S3s were sold out.
My guess is Samsung presold over a million, with me being one of them.

Re: US Presale Numbers?
Hopefully they have enough Qualcomm S4's for all of them since there's apparently a shortage. Maybe that's just because of all the SIII's. lol

Re: US Presale Numbers?
I have to think orders of HOX handsets ahve been impeeded by the release of the GSIII. If for no other reason than a lot of people are probably sitting on the fence, upgrade in hand, waiting to be able to play with both in store before deciding.
Once they are both available, people would likely make their choice and that could lead to increased HOX sales as well.

Re: US Presale Numbers?
I put in an order on June 6 at 4:20am EST and then another order in on June 12 about 10:30pm EST with Verizon and order number had only incremented by ~1,000 in that time (from 38,XXX to 39,XXX). I don't know if that is telling or not about pre-sales of the S3 in the whole of the US.

Re: US Presale Numbers?
1. I would assume the majority of preorders come in the first couple of days after they start
2. I wonder if those figures count presells through 3rd party vendors-BB, radio shack, ..etc
3. So far, launch in US has been poorly handled so far, IMHO.
Maybe interest picks up after official launch event in NY. So far we barely had a press release to announce availability in US. ATT has STILL not officially given a date for launch. Sure, phone geeks like us know about it, but others?
