s3 motion and other issues
Just wondering if anyone else has some motions not working e.g. contact call not working even with default number set. Other motions work and yes it is switched on! Also on pressing the home button the home screen can take a few seconds to appear correctly i.e. screen and apps gradually appear, slower than my htc desire! Maybe I'm a little naive but I was expecting it to be quicker than this. Wifi drops out occassionally... etc. Any thoughts? Have I got a duff one?

You check this for the home screen transition part?

For direct call to work you need to either have a contact details screen open.. like the contact card which displays all the details like his or her email... number etc... and then put it to your ear it should buzz and call directly... it also works on the text messaging app.. but i found the message has to already contain sent messages from before to work..
I read that the apps load slowly after pressin the home button becuz the android system doesnt keep the previous screen in memory so it loads it fresh everytime... very annoying

I've tried every screen relating to contacts. It doesn't even work in the 'try it' screen of the motion settings page!

Re: s3 motion and other issues
I initially had all my motion features working, but in the last few days they have stopped working. Most notably the screen capture motion isn't working.
OOPS! Inadvertently and unknowingly had turned off the "motion" features. Back on now and all working fine.Last edited by cataloochee; 06-30-2012 at 06:36 PM.

Re: s3 motion and other issues
Smart stay works on mine - have to give screen enough time so it doesn't time-out anyway; works well. Now if I could just bend my arm in a special way to get contact calling working...And I'm beginning to think the home screens are taking longer to 'redraw' on returning home. Let's hope the update fixes it when my battery is charged. Wonder if I should have stuck with HTC...?!
