Can I go on and use this phone everyday without a case on it? I don't usually drop my, I had an iPhone 4 before and just put a zagg skin on it and I ended up selling it in very good condition. I was thinking a zagg skin on the back with a silicone case or something, that should be good enough right? Or maybe just the zagg invisible shield by itself? I don't want to buy a bulky case that hides the phone's beauty

Each phone I've had I have never used a shell case. I use a belt pouch, the leather type. I've also never once dropped my phone or damaged it. However, I'm more thoughtful and careful. I know a lot of people that drop their phones often and break them... even lose them. If you're that type of person then definitely get a protective case and some good insurance. For me, Ill rock it naked with my belt case.

I've never rocked anything other than a slim tpu case on my smartphones, and I've found its more than enough protection, even for the occasional drop.

I've watched a few drop tests on YouTube. I wouldn't go without a case. This phone was not built for drops.

First off I don't trust the phone without at least a tpu case ( that's my favorite type ).
But since I ordered the s3 I wanted to rock my Dinc with no case since I have nothing to really loose. I hated it .... I thought it felt nice in the pocket but to thin in the hand for texting and game playing.

I am naked until Otterbox gets me a Defender case!!! Only a screen protector right now!

Just buy a bumper or a cheap TPU case off eBay. I purchased one for $2.99 and just got it and its super thin and even has a small lip to protect the screen. Right now with my DInc I rock it with a case for a week then go naked for 2 weeks. Having a case doesn't mean you have to use it, but if you're going hiking or somewhere it would be beneficial it'd be nice to have it just in case (no pun intended)

My GS2 had nothing on it and it was fine. Will have to see how the Hyperglaze stuff holds up. I am not worried about dropping it,I have Black Tie Insurance.

I always put a case on my phones. For two reasons; to protect the phone because you never know when you will drop it. And for a little differentiation. I like to keep my devices in pristine condition so that I can sell them for top dollar later.

Good Man! Unlike this guy who says he thinks it is a defect in the phone because he dropped his vibrant a few times and it never broke...



Sometimes you just have to shake your head...

BTW, I bought the Seidio Surface Case. It is pretty slim. Offers some protection from drops.

You definitely want a case that will ABSORB the impact/shock of a fall/drop in order to protect this phone. I believe any hard plastic case won't suffice. You need shock absorbing materials like TPU, silicone or rubber here. Its back to the drawing board looking for a case for me, lol!!
