Anybody buy the "Genuine Samsung S3 Slim Case"

Did anybody buy the "Genuine Slim Case from Samsung"? Wondering if its any thinner than your standard diztronic TPU case?

I got this shipped to me the other day.

I can tell you it is extremely thin. Much thinner then your average TPU case. Probably the thinnest case you will find for the SIII

Now with it being so thin I dont know how it will handle a drop.

So does it have the "lip" on the front so if you put the phone face-down it won't rest on the face itself? Also how is the grip, I've always used cases that have that texturing on the side to help with the grip?

It has a very very very small lip. I mean its there but its so small that it might not protect the screen. Nothing like the lip on a TPU case.

Grip is fine. No problems at all.

I'm not a case type of guy, but if you call this a case... It is the best one I have bought.

It's more considered an appearance protection case in my book. Everyone I have shown it to actualy says "you have a case on it?" cause you cant tell there is one on it.

I say it is 1/3 the thickness of any good TPU case... It is super thin. No thicker than body armor wrap. NO BULK AT ALL!
