Exchange eating battery

Exchange services are taking between 45 and 49% of my battery. It took my some time, but I finally found out why my battery life is bad. I have it to check every hour. There are two accounts. One is gmail and the other is going to my exchange server. Please help.

Use Moxier mail. Way less battery intensive with exchange.
