I'm new here so please bear with me if this issue has already been addressed. I made sure to Google it and I couldn't find anything helpful.

I'm having issues with my battery life. After about 2 hours of moderate usage (texting and browsing the Internet so I'm not even sure that counts as moderate usage), my battery loses about 35 percent of its power, which is a lot different from what I read on the forums and stuff. I made sure to check task manager and I'm using juice defender so I know I'm not completely jn the wrong here.

Long story short: is it possible that the percentage is reading a lot less than what the battery power actually is? The reason I say this is because the battery icon seems a lot fuller than the percentage indicated.

Again, please bear with me. I'm a newbie at this stuff so let me know what you think.

You said task manager. Is that something you downloaded from the market?

no, sorry. What I meant is that I've been monitoring the cpu usage and nothing in particular is sucking up the power. If that makes sense
