Please advise: how do I make my text icons for apps bigger? They look really feeble and using simple text or text icon creator they get clipped by the space allocated to the app icon image. I'm using nova launcher and unrooted.

OK, have made a part solution - using minimalistic text I've got large text widgets that perform an action to open apps. Can't assign them to folders tho. Any ideas? Where's funkylogic when you need him?

exact same problem with simple text mate.
this my new folders screen

too small eh
maybe folder icons can only be a certain size, making less grids in nova would prob make em bigger but that would mess up my widget page lol

I always keep mine fairly simple but use multiple desktops. I never thought I would use stock widgets... but Motorola actually did something great with their Circles widget.

Clock widget is BeWeather using Beautiful Widgets Clock Skin called Cosmic Ice.
Icons are Simple Text icons that I made.
