Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
You can go into your gallery settings. If there's an option for "view by" you can choose to only see the albums that are from your phone. I just wish I could see Facebook and the phone albums only. The picasa albums are driving me crazy. You can only select one.

Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
This successfully stops updating them. It does NOT remove already synced photos. I do not believe that the FB albums can be deleted at this point in time. I found "Picasa Sync" files in (internal SD) Android/data/com.sec.android.gallery.3d/cache - and CAN delete those. I cannot find FB images, however. I like my device uploading to the cloud, but dl'ing tons of pics to expensive SD space is not preferable... Please share if anyone knows where these files live.

Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
Hi as suggested by you guys, I went through settings>Account>Facebook and disabled the sync. This reclaimed 4GB back. thanks for the tips guys. However the pictures in the gallery remain. Very strange! anyway it has freed 4GB of my valuable space

Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
Hi,
I am hoping that someone knows how to have the Gallery Option of "Content on this Device" be the default setting. As mention, I can choose it, but the next time I go to Gallery, it is not select and Gallery loads "EVERYTHING" which I do not want it to do.
Thanks, - 12-26-2012, 05:20 AM #30
Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
The only way I found to unsync my Facebook photos from the gallery was to delete the Facebook account off the phone. Next time I launched the Facebook app I had to login in again, at which point it asked me what I wanted to sync.

Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
Remove you Facebook account first from Settings>Accounts. Then go to settings>Application manager>All>Gallery and clear your gallery cache and data. Finally, go back to settings>accounts and add your Facebook back but make sure you un-check the sync photo option. Go to your gallery and be amazed now. Thanks.

Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
This is what I did... and it actually worked for me.
Go to your settings, then scroll down to "Accounts" heading. There you should see "Facebook" underneath that heading. Click on it. There you should see your facebook account at the top. Click on that. Then at the bottom of the screen you will have two options: sync now and remove account.
Then just click remove account and they albums should be gone!
Here is a screen shot of what the last step should look like (except I already removed my facebook so I will use my google account as an example) - 06-06-2013, 02:42 PM #42
Re: Facebook photos show up in gallery?!?!
Hi.
I did have access to all my facebook photo albums in my gallery on the samsung galaxy S3. However they now no longer appear. I am not sure why. I have done all the reccomended synching etc and now have all FB friends details on contact list and planner/organiser but still no photos.
So can anyone help me, how do I get my FB photos back accessible in my gallery?
Thanks Carl
