I have my shiny new SGSIII (on Verizon) and I plug it into the "AUX" jack on my car stereo (via a standard 3.5mm stereo male-to-male cable) and the following happens:
Any way to stop items 2 and 3?
I really need the volume set to full (or at least 90%) to get decent playback through the stereo; fiddling with the volume after I plug in the phone is kind of annoying.
And, of course, I don't always want Google Listen to start playing.
Thanks,
- Rory

- The notification bar says "Earphones Connected"
- The volume gets set to about 66%
- Google Listen starts playing the next item in its queue
