Scheduled Daily Reboots? Good Idea?

I got my 79 year old mom an S3 because of the large screen, and so we could run Life360 (a GPS tracking app).

Sometimes, that app stops responding.
On my S3, sometimes the TestService stops responding.

I'm thinking it would be good to schedule a daily reboot of the phone to ensure everything is up & running as best possible.

Questions:
1. Any downside of doing that, and
2. What's the best way to do that?

Thanks,
Mike

No real downside, other than the general confusion your mom might have as to why the thing was flashing lights and playing songs (when it reboots.)

As for automating it, I would have to think you could get Tasker to automatically reboot at a set time each day. Never used it myself though so ymmv.
