Problem with stock browser

When using the browser and I click on an image file to view it, it always wants to download the image to my sd card instead of just opening the image in a new tab like on a laptop.
Anyone know a setting to make it open in a new browser tab instead of downloading it to my sd card?

Can you give us an example of a link where there are pictures that this happens with? Have you changed any of the settings in the stock browser (mobile/desktop, etc.)? Are you sure you're not doing a long-press on the picture?

Thank you. I'll try the long press. I was browsing a cd/dvd cover site trying to get the covers for dvds that I burned.

Thanks again. The long press works.
Cdcovers.cc gives you different cover choices for the same dvd and you want to look at them all before deciding on one to download.
