is there a way to use the GS3 on 3G instead of 4G?

i don't like how much of a battery suck 4G is, and i'd rather have it on 3G when i don't need the data speed.

is there a way to only have it on 3G, or hspa+, or something to that effect? not seeing anything in the menus, and i'd rather not dig through the play store to find a toggle/widget that i may not need, or may cause issues with my device.

Seetings . More . Mobile network.select network if its in automatik change it to 3g

Note that i dont have 4g phones so it might not work

From the mobile network settings page select manual and pick your network providers signal of choice

When I travel 50 minutes out of town and am blessed by the glory of 4G speeds, it's like Christmas.

Try JuiceDefender or Green Power Premium, either of those should help out quite a bit.
