Can't attach photos to text message?!

I took a photo and tried to send it to a friend, and it said file type not supported?? Is the a fix for this? I am quite disturbed to not be able to send photos.... Also, isn't it time to allow larger file sizes without crazy compression?

I have never had a problem. I have not updated my ATT version. Do you have an update?

Did some racing and a reboot fixed the problem.... Strange! Known issue though....

Exact same problem. Reboot fixes it for a little while, but always stops working. Any fix yet besides reboot or going to handsent? Handsent and other third party aps don't sync with facebook contacts (i.e., they won't assign facebook photo to contact). I have VZ S3.
