    Default contacts unification problem

So I got my Galaxy S3 around a month and a half ago (GSM/international version) and the moment I plugged in my SIM card it seems like I have double contacts.

Either that or I have multiple contacts that I cannot Unify (For example, the person's number in one contact, and their Skype and Whatsapp and email in a different contact).

Is there a way to unify contacts? I tried "Join contacts" but it doesn't work.

    Thanks!

(I am syncing my email and other stuff on the phone).

You can try - it worked well for me when there were duplicate contacts on my phone.
