Please point out where I said any phone was free of bugs. Misrepresenting what people say is about as lazy as you can get in a discussion. If I meant to offend anyone in my original post I would have posted to the HTC One X forum.

Then your post would have been deleted, instead of having us here toying with you.

The lock screen is busted if you use a PIN - True depending on what you wanna use it for.

The CPU pegs and drains the battery randomly - My phone has never seen this issue.

Wifi was weak and dropped all the time - I have not seen this either. I use WiFi every day also. Both at my office and home.

No text reflow in the browser - Sure but to me its not a huge deal.

Calendar reminders are broken - This is broken. I did forget about this bug.

Haptic feedback is broken - My phone has never had this issue either.

Poor implementation of Bluetooth - Bluetooth works in my 2012 car with no issues at all.

Weird icon shift/stutter when you close big apps - I Have seen this as well but not to often.

All good points. I think you had a bad phone. I would have returned it for another. But if you just felt like the phone was not gonna work for you then I am glad you returned it and found one that does work for you.

My posts are not meant to be rude any in way guys, So please do not take it such. This is just my opinion and what I have seen with my time with my S3.

Blah, blah, blah. Still waiting for the cite where I said any phone was free of bugs. That's OK, you know you were not truthful. And how about some more references to that wide spread problem with the heptic settings not staying. Toy away but if you can't back up your comments there isn't much use in playing.

So we can assume you're done?

No, I assumed you were. After all, refusing to respond to issues you were called out on is a sure sign of defeat. Just admit you were wrong about the "widespread" issue of settings not sticking and my saying any phone is without bugs and I'll let you off the hook. I still think your phone from hell was a MacGuffin.

You can search out the issues the same as I can. Or I can start sending you all the "help me" emails that come in for the GSIII. Maybe you can successfully help these people, because I can't and Samsung can't. That's why they're called bugs. Convenient how you skipped past all the other issues and focused on one you haven't heard before.

You certainly inferred that your phone was bug free. Twist that however you like. You want to get people riled up, and instead you got me -- someone who doesn't care, thinks all phone manufacturers suck equally, and doesn't mind playing games on forums. My goal is to keep you and your trolling confined right here, away from folks who just want to enjoy their expensive phones, and not play silly games.

Take it out on me instead of decent people. I don't mind :)

I guess I'll do some work for you. Also, please post where you acknowledged any of the bugs that your phone (the Galaxy S III) has.

Guess what I did to find those? Went through the first two pages of threads in the non-carrier Galaxy S III section. Makes me wonder if you're just completely oblivious to the bugs that people are experiencing with the S3. At least I can acknowledge that my phone has problems that need to be addressed.

Why isn't this thread locked yet? Especially with mods posting in it continuing the arguing.

@Jerry - I just want to say, I don't use haptic feedback, it's one of the most annoying "features" and also a waste of battery so I disable it immediately. Outside of that though the issues you describe I have none of and are such that you might have had a lemon and an exchange would have been in order. We had a poster recently that said how awful his S3 was and his problems were far too many to be normal and everyone attacked the poor guy. He eventually exchanged it and posted back how happy he was that he no longer had a single issue he had prior. I think you might have simply been that un lucky as he. Consider that.

Well, basically, because we're the Mods and we decide where the line is. :) Trust me, if it was crossed it would be closed.

"You certainly inferred that your phone was bug free." What BS, major fail. You were the one who cited and provided (insufficient) information on the settings issue. You were wrong and readers of this thread know it.

Now go through the HTC One X forum and do the same. Report back (honestly) which phone has more problems. You know you won't because you would lose your argument. And now I'll ask you, where did I say the Galaxy S III had no bugs. Really, let me know. I'd like to be assured that you just aren't making stuff up.

Just looked at the first two of your references. You are kidding right? First one was a problem no one responded to. Why, no one else had the issue. Second one was a guy who didn't like the Samsung keyboard. He was told to get Swiftkey. OMG, what a problem prone phone the S III is. This is unbelievable. Fail

I never said that the One X didn't have problems. I never said it had less problems. I also never explicitly said that you said the S3 had no bugs. But you've failed to acknowledge them at all. Even when faced with threads pointing to all the bugs you deflect the issue. By failing to acknowledge them at all you are indirectly saying that you believe they don't exist. So no, you didn't say it, but you implied it.

What you're trying to do, and will be unsuccessful at, is to "discredit" people to the point that they won't be taken seriously. I'm sure the readers of this thread (your words, not mine) can decide who and who is "discredited" (IMO no one has, and no one will be).

Here's one that Samsung has admitted to, and has replied to people about. The screen will suffer from burn-in. That's worse than a bug. It's an admitted and known hardware issue that the manufacturer has admitted happens.

Fair enough, but I figure.... If there weren't mods that were HTC fans posting defending their phones this shiz would've been shut down by now.

Nah this thread would've just died from lack of replies. Or become another fanboy thread. <--- they exist in every section.

Also, I've owned Samsung and LG android phones.
