I can't stand a cluttered Status Bar filled with the Notification icons from all the individual Apps, so I use "StatusBar+" to clean that up--> https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...com.tombarrasso.android.wp7bar&token=XF7gByQK

However, to ensure I don't miss any Notifications I also use "Missed It!" to get GLOBAL Badge Notifications on "WidgetLocker".

My favorites are...

ES file explorer - its can do ftp to and from computer, and has root options.

Anydo - task organizer/calender app

Google Currents - great news app, looks great. Saves documents offline as well. (Like pocket)

Flipboad - another news app, I use it a lot.

Pocket - saves articles to your phone and looks really great.

Google Goggles - pretty cool for scanning qrs, links, pieces if art, and tons of other stuff.

Google Translate - pretty awesome for translating, as the name implies.
