Face tag
Is there a way to make the phone not recognize a face? Basically I like face tag but it's recognizing people in pictures and they are just in the background or in a painting. And so when I go to sort by people it has an un tagged or unnamed section with these pictures.

Re: Face tag
Yeah there's an option to turn it off, one of the first things I did since why would I want to see yellow rectangles around people's faces while trying to look at my photos?
Go into the Gallery and click on a picture to view it. Once you are viewing a picture you can then tap the menu button and turn facetage off, it will turn it off globally. I found it strange the option would be in a picture viewing menu subset but that's where it is. If you're at the root album display the menu button only gives the options for Select Album and View by.

I don't want to turn if off completely. I just want to get rid of some faces that it's recognizing. Like it thinks there is a face on a blanket so it has it as untagged in the gallery.

I'm sure you should be able to remove individual face tags. Long press and see the options you get
