Default Hawaii now has AT&T LTE!!!!

Today is the first time I saw the 4g LTE symbol on my GS3 and it got me freakin excited!!!! Checked the about screen and sure enough it says LTE. Previously it was just 4g.

Now let's hope they aren't just testing it >_<

Congratulations. I'm stuck with 2G/Edge data connection with T-Mobile's prepaid unlimited text and data here in LA. That's what I get for using an international phone...

Great news for anyone near Detroit, MI too. My Galaxy Note now shows the 4G LTE symbol as well. First time I noticed it was tonight. I am chatting with AT&T now and the tech confirmed that several cities went live on LTE tonight.

Cool, I'm going to Hawaii in a few weeks. How widespread is it? Is it just Honolulu?

    Where in Hawaii?

I used LTE in Maui last year.

I was on LTE in Kauai last month.

Ahem.... Sorry all for the 'slightly' late response :P

Don't think it matters at this point but I was referring to Honolulu on Oahu in my post. Downspeeds hit around 25-30Mbps, up was 1-4Mbps.

    That is all.

Android is a tune up sports car with custom interior, sound system, and IOS is a stock model benz

I use Android, because unlike IOS, i keep my apps in app drawers, and not infinitely cluttered homescreens

12Mbps Up?! That seems ridiculously high for an upload speed. Mines not even close to that.
