While Coolfreak is correct, if you don't want a widget taking up screen space, Tiny Flashlight is great app.

I've used the simple app called Flashlight by Intellectual Flame Co in the Play store. I've used it in real situations, like walking along the side of a dark road while on vacation. Works really well and is so simple, launch it and it's on. Only caveat is that after closing it Touchwiz becomes less smooth moving for about one minute or so then clears up.

How is that working really well?

Because it doesn't impact performance in any other way and when I usually use it, when it's dark, I'm typically not jumping on my phone to do other crap within the next minute. Does it really matter if it takes one minute before Touchwiz scrolls perfectly smooth again? It still moves fine just swiping motion is a bit choppy.

I just use the built in flashlight widget. Why use an app when it comes stock? Don't believe it has Morse code option, but quick and easy access if you put widget on home screen. :o

If you just need the light.. the assistive flashlight that comes with the phone works......

I just hate installing unnecessary apps that already come with the phone.

RIght Now, COLOR FLASHLIGHT is best. Great LED flashlight plus colored strobes, spirals, police lights, etc.. You can set the rate, color, and brightness easily.
    Enjoy!

To some extent, I agree. If the built-in app just didn't force you to give up space for a 2x1 widget....

I just hate wasting home screen real estate.
