Default What brightness level do you leave your GS3 on?

I leave mine at 15%, but I'm thinking of increasing it so make it brighter without it affecting the battery as much, so what brightness level you you all usually leave your brightness on?

15 is fine when not in direct sunlight
if you get used to seeing it really bright youll end up wasting battery kinda like people who get used to keeping central heating on get aclimatised to it and get a heavy gas/electricity bill lol

I usually leave mine at around 30-35. I love that I can quickly brighten or darken it now though.

1% unless I need it higher, an easy feat thanks to DisplayBrightness app.

100% - Auto Off. Anything less is waaaaaaay too dim for me. I even wish I could make it brighter, although the brightness is satisfactory at the 100% level. That's the downfall with this type of display. The older you get the dimmer the screen gets.

Auto as well. Notice that the slider bar is set to the halfway mark in the Brightness setting, so does this mean that Auto = 50%?

Naaa take it off of auto and put it all the way to the left...then turn on auto...the slider doesnt mean anything if ur on auto...only what the last setting was before u pressed auto...

While I don't own a GS3, I am planning on getting one soon. The brightness is one of my concerns, as I had to turn the store demo models up to 100% just to make it comfortable for me. Feel like it could be hard to use under brighter light, especially outdoors.

80% is a good setting for me. The extra 20% doesn't make it look any better imo.

its not a backlit screen so its always gona have problems in direct sunshine but sounds to me like the display model was faulty mate

This is the first phone I've ever owned where auto brightness is right 99% of the time. Battery life is fine with auto brightness too.

Maximum, working out of a truck all day, Otterbox Defender case and polarized sunglasses...I don't have much of a choice. Also handy to keep it plugged in all the time

0% Is plenty bright for me. I guess i just got used to it. BUT, i bump it up to 40% when im watching any thing 720p or higher.

I use my phone heavily, so anything over 0% just hinders my battery.

just noticed QuickPic gallery app has an option to pump the brightness of a pic up to 100% brightness when viewing it in fullscreen.
its a nice touch but wish it was adjustable. 100% is a bit too bright...

I let Lux Free or Juice Defender manage my brightness levels most of the the time. They both seem to do well overall.
