Sportacular vs espn scorecenter
Which do you prefer? For me right now they are in a dead heat. I hate the ads in both. They both seem to update pretty quick. And I don't absolutely love either ui. Espn does have a service that runs in the background which I dislike. Thoughts?

Try ScoreMobile - after trying them all, I prefer it to either of those. More fine-grained alert options, it's very highly configurable.

Sportacular, because it doesn't run in the background when not used unlike the ESPN crap app

Re: Sportacular vs espn scorecenter
I actually have both, ESPN is easier to read news on, but Sportacular is better for alerts and checking scores. The only gripe I have with it is that when the notification goes off, the LED is just solid red.
Why did Samsung have to make access to the LED light so difficult? - 11-06-2012, 12:57 PM #11

Re: Sportacular vs espn scorecenter
Does anyone know why Sportacular and Scoremobile both need location permissions? I've been using Fox sports because it doesn't need any weird permissions and doesn't keep starting itself like ESPN Scorecenter.

ScoreMobile also runs in the background.
I'm looking forward to Google Now whenever Jelly Bean comes out in Canada.
