If I sell my GS3 and buy a Nexus 4, do I lose my free 50GB of space when I re-install Dropbox on the new device?

they were 5-9 at 1st but dropped to 2-4 hopfuly 4g will lighten the load on 3g?

Storage amount is based on your account so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

it must use ur IMEI code in the process

no. you own that dropbox login mate. u can acces it on any pc or phone.
its just gettin the free 48gb added that would hav been imei related.
