Why not just get the new Google Nexus 4? It's way cheaper; is ready for Straight Talk out of the box; already has Jelly Bean; appears to have pretty decent specifications - that's what I'd be doing if I wasn't tied to Verizon's apron strings right now.

Not sure if serious, or sarcastic... The Nexus 4 has pretty much better everything. IPS is better IMO since you can actually see what you're doing in daylight, the build quality is more solid, the specs themselves are better, the Adreno 320 is a better GPU, and it gets the latest pure android updates with a vast amount of developers.

Yeah, I'm not so sure - on the VIP site it lists the AT&T's price at 96 cents, but for the VZW version it says to click for price. This tells me it's going to be more. Still $50 would be find - just a shame I don't know anyone with a SC membership.

Just checking in again. My verizon, in Tucson Arizona, has verizon Samsung Galaxy S3s, but there are only a limited number, and I would have to get there really early, like 5am, and get a membership...it's an amazing deal, saving almost $200, but I don't know how long lines will be, and I don't want to get up early and find out I am actually late.
