Galaxy S3, Nova launcher question/bug ?

Hi all,

Yesterday I've installed Nova Launcher, since then when some1 calls/texts me, no missed call/new message notification shows up on the pictograms in the main screen.
But in the upper left corner I see a message or missed call icon, so notifcations are turned on.
Maybe this has something to do with it or maybe not: last week suddenly I had the missed call notification bug, but I fixed that.

someone any ideas/solutions?

I've just tested out, when I use the standard s3 launcher I get notifications, maybe it is a setting in nova launcher? Anyone experience with nova launcher?

download Teslaunread app then go to "unread counts" in Nova settings to set it up

but it requires the nova launcher prime, kinda lame you have to pay if you want to receive your missed message/phone call notifications

get go launcher then (free) with the notifications add-on but Nova Prime is worth x10 what it costs

whatever you choose, its better than stock

Ps, pity u missed the £0.25 nova prime sale

I got the nova prime when it was on sale its pretty awesome and sooo fast!

I can't seem to get the email notifications to work, for some reason. Messaging yes, email no. I customized my icons with some of StealthyChief's packs, wonder if it's an issue with one of those? I can't see why it would though.

with nova? not sure mate as i have my gmail as a gesture app on my sms icon and i dont use stock email...
icons should make no difference man

What email are you using? Notifications don't work with Exchange for anything but the TW launcher (and Sense does as well). I really have no idea why these third party launchers don't have unread counts for Exchange, when Sense and TW do. Can't even find any widgets (like Unread Count) that work with Exchange.

It's kindof annoying.

It's well worth it.... and it's only fair. The added features make the launcher very nice to use.
People invested a lot of time and money to develop these apps and should be compensated for it.
You'll spend more on one lunch than this...

You could always pirate... sike. I lied. You need a license key. It doesn't work that way (although I kind if wish it did. I want yo try out the paid version of this and apex then make my ultimate decision of which one I would truly buy.) Oh well.

same. i try pirates for a week 1st IM NOT CONDONING IT!

the refund period should be longer for that type of app.. 24hrs at the very least or offer a full featured trial.
doubt youl regret buyin it tho.

I'm having problems with my gs3 and newly installed nova. My text messages are sending but i keep getting failure notifications. Anyone have this same issue?

Have u disabled stock "messaging" app?
Doesnt sound like a nova problem mate?
