Nova Prime on GS3

After being pissed on by Google trying to order my N4, I went off in the huff and wanted to change the look of my phone with a new launcher.

OMG! Nova Prime is an awesome launcher, I feel like I've got stock Android but with a better camera and expandable storage.
Might just stay put here for longer than I thought.

Icing on the cake.....we got Google Music today in the UK, not the worst day after all :-)

I prefer Nova prime over touchwiz for sure. Just not enough customization on touchwiz. Plus having this much screen real estate and being limitted to 4 x 5 icon placement? Really?

plus having multiple scrollable docks where every icon has a secondary function and bein able to hide/show statusbar to make ur homescreen beautiful

ps no need for search bar bro, just longpress menu button in home screen or wit a did was see that wee microphone logo on ma android dude, thats Custom Ics Search widget. a jst changed colour of the mic' a bit n made the rest transparent. then long pressed, resize, n made it as wee as possible so its a shortcut to Now voice

check out the Homescreens thread in "stickies" if ur inty custmising btw... hunners of minted ideas

p.s, wae JB u kin hide they app icons in the statusbar brer

Why root to get the stock experience when you can install Nova and keep the good things that touch wiz offers?

? Rooting doesn't take away things such as touch Wiz if I don't want it to. That's what ROMing can do... I'm just running the stock JB release from Sprint (the official one - Sprint is one of the few carriers that have released JB to the S3)... So it still has the samsung touch.. Except I have the root access. I like root access for things like titanium backup, root explorer, and tether in case I ever need it.

Also I like root because I got rid of the camera click noise using root explorer.. Took 30 seconds

Ah. I don't mind stock JB.. I just need that root for certain apps.

I used to ROM my s2...Maybe I'll try one for the s3 one day.

exact same. id miss a lot of TW but will prob try a nice light stable rom someday.
gona root soon as i fix laptop so i can backup and reset to get rid of the ice cream cobwebs
