I want to use my DLNA to access files on my PS3, but it takes freakin 4ever to load up!

I go to the setting and click "File Sharing", then a pop up comes up saying "Organizing files for sharing with nearby devices", and it loads forrreevveerr!!
Is it because I have a lot of music and photos on my SD Card? Does yours do this?

I wonder if the PS3 is the issue. Try the same test to your PC and see the outcome.

If it does work okay to the PC, restart the PS3 and try again to see.

Just goty galaxy note 2 last weekend and was also trying dlna this morning and had the same problem - was loading forever.

Hope someone figures this out.

There are a lot of upnp/dlna apps in the play store. I've tried a few with my PS3 and so far I like bubbleupnp, but you might want to try some others too.

Use iMediaShare, I use it with my PS3 all the time.

My PS3 works fine with ArkMC on Android.
