Getting an SGS3 for international use?
Hey there, everyone,
I have a question for anyone who knows about the Samsung phones.
My relative wants to buy an SGS3 mainly for use internationally.
I'm not too sure how to go about this. Obviously, I'll have to buy the phone outright at a store, but what kind of phone would be good for this purpose?
Off the top of my head, I am thinking it has to be GSM-compatible (so, something like an AT&T version, over a Verizon version) as well as being unlocked so it can be used on different carriers.
Is this correct, or is there anything else I'm missing? Or am I just completely off here?
Thanks. - 11-26-2012, 05:20 AM #2
