I see several different OEM batteries for my Verizon S3. On eBay they say it is compatible with my phone but the model no. is EB-L1G6LLU versus the model no. on my present battery is EB-L1G6LLZ.

Can anyone tell me what the differences are and if I should be concerned.

The U apparently is the international version. It should be fine.

I guess that ^ means the battery will continue to work even if you're in a different country...

Thanks for the responses. If I go to another continent I will just hope it is on the approved list so it works

Otherwise, the only why the make the battery work is to put it in up-side-down.
