Photo Storage - is this how it's supposed to work?

On the iphone, it was simple, all your photos went into the camera roll.
With the S3 (or maybe it's Android in general) photos go everywhere. I've got folders for; Screenshots, downladed, Camera, GoSMS photos.

Is this normal? is there a way just to have a single repository where your photos go?

Its normal. You could keep moving them to same folder but how hard would that be to find a screenshot or a download from a specific browser or app?
Quickpic gallery simplifies it a bit cosmeticly :)

U gota agree the folders are usful though mate?
If not you could move them all to camera folder n have a big jumble.
Remember on quickpic you can exclude folders but i dont recommend it as it pure messed mine up.
The way i see it, its like i like havin my music folder based, to me its more tidy and PowerAmp player does it beautifuly :)
