Silly suggestion, but have you tried changing the wallpaper to see if that is the case? Or looked at the wallpaper in the gallery?

Do you have a wake up command turned on for s voice? Try turning it off and seeing if that's the culprit

Tried a new wallpaper, froze both S-Voice/Memo, and it's still here. Doesn't show up when using WidgetLocker.

This worked like a charm!

It is part of the VZW modifications. You must have root to remove it.
Navigate to "/system/csc/" and rename "customer.xml" to "customer.bak".

Restart your phone. The Lock icon and "verizon wireless" text will be gone from your lockscreen, and you will also have the bubble notifications back.

I would think that maybe the "lock screen instructions" might do away with it. Oh, in case you didn't know, you can add 5 icons on the lock screen with JB now.

It means the phone is locked, and u should swipe to unlock

U can try changing the way ur phone locks

I had the lock on my ATT S3. I got rid of my lock screen entirely, so I don't see it at all now.

Took care of it guys (see my reply a few posts up?). I appreciate the help though!

I was also getting those pesky help messages on the lockscreen even though I toggled them off in my settings. Froze Help 1.0 with TiBU and they're no longer popping up.

As with all Verizon OTAs, it took me another 2 hours to clean up all the messes they've made post update lol.
