LED light not working :(

I just got my new Galaxy 3 today, insurance had to send me a new one because I shattered the screen on my one week old one. I finally got all my settings the way I want them and realized that the LED light is not working. I have notificiations LED lights set to on so I have no clue what is going on. I did some google help and tried the testing of the LED lights in the phone keyboard screen when you type *#0*# the led lights do not come on. Does anyone have any clue what could be wrong? I really want my LED lights to come on, but I do not want to have to return the phone and set up another.

Check to see if quiet hours are on in your settings

There is a jelly Bean feature that can turn off the notification light and other setting during certain hours ago to find it, I believe you have to go through sound settings first

My blocking mode is off so I dont think that is it

I'm assuming you got the replacement from a warranty claim right?

Chances are it's a refurbished device and this is a hardware issue. They should be able to over night you a device if you call right away.

Yes, you are correct. I did do this through a warranty claim. Ohhhh what a bummer!!!! I finally got everything set up. I dont know if I really want to do that again :( I guess now I know I will check that setting before spending so much time getting it how I want it.

Do the led light up when charging? Might tell you if it don't work at all or maybe a setting issue.

I like the way you think, lol!!! It doesnt turn red when charging either. I was going to try and see if I really need it and live without it to avoid setting it up, but its not worth it. I think I will have to go ahead and bite the bullet and set up a 6th phone in 4 months! Hopefully this will be the end of it. Thanks guys!
