    Default Creepy eye pops into the screen from time to time.

    In the top of the notification bar, next to the battery/data speed indicator. Sometimes a logo of an eye will appear and disappear. What does that means? Am I being monitored?

    Its smart stay. It senses your eye to keep the screen on if your reading

    Yep. It's smart stay. I really use it cause it helps my battery life. I love all the features in this phone!

    Samsung and Google were also required by law to notify you when they were providing the CIA with live action video footage with the front AND rear facing cameras. So the eye serves two purposes.
