| | Re: NFC vs S Beam vs Wi-Fi Direct vs Android Beam
NFC (Near Field Communication) is the technology required to use S-Beam and Android Beam
Android Beam is the ability to use NFC to transfer small files such as contact info and YouTube videos by touching the back of the phone
S-Beam is an upgraded version of Android Beam (Only available with certain Samsung devices) which allows you to transfer larger files such as music files, apps, and video even faster by touching the back of the phones
WiFi Direct uses Wifi to transfer videos, music files, pictures, pretty much anything on your phone to another phone via wifi...with WiFi direct, you dont have to touch the back of the phones, but just be on the same WiFi network, then you can transfer anything by hitting a button!
