I use Chomp SMS, and for some reason now when the Messaging app is disabled. I could just keep it enabled and turn off notifications, but then two applicatiosn are sucking in data and cache.
Ideas?

I had same problem. Unless chomp has same option as go sms, you have to keep messaging enabled mate
