traveling from NJ/USA to Austria need help on service

Hi i'm on tmobile and called to unlock to unlock my phone. Should have the unlock code in a couple of days. I"m leaving for Austria in melbourne next week for a week. I need some service to make calls and check my email. Any one have any ideas or web site links. Thanks for the help

Only use wifi to make calls and Internet for the week. If your hotel doesn't have free wifi, check for other sources and make sure to check with t-mobile how to avoid being charged for data on your phone. T usually has an option to sign up for lower rates in Europe for a few dollars more for a month. You might want to check. We signed up in Germany in case the wifi was not fastest enough to make calls and were glad we did. It cut 50% off their rates.
