    Default Blue Check Mark next to Contact phone number?

    I am sure this will be a quick answer for someone. And I did do a search thinking it would be easy to find out. But I can't find anything.
    When I go into my contacts, my GF's mobile number has a Blue Check Mark next to the phone number itself.
    I have other contacts with multiple contact numbers and none of them I have come across thus far have the check mark...
    Can someone tell me what this means?

    I actually tapped and held over the phone number and it appears the blue check mark means it's been set as the default Number
