E-mail annoyance

Is there a way with the stock e-mail app to not have messages that are read come back as unread every so often. Once I mark an e-mail read and others come in after I delete them the older unread messages keep coming back (maybe once or twice a day) as unread again. It is extremely annoying. I am using the stock e-mail app on JB 4.1.1. I miss the BB way of giving you the option of deleting from the phone or deleting from the server, is there an e-mail app that has this as an option? the Gmail app does this but my g-mail is not my primary e-mail.

Try Aquamail. I gave up on the stock email. Very happy with it, I have 6 accounts on it.

Thanks, it looks great (just installed it and set it up). Is there a way to get unread count badges on it? It would be nice.

Yes, long press on the home screen >widgets>aquamail >counters. Mike sure to check "unread messages".

Sweet and Nova allows me to place it in my menu. Thanks a bunch Ricky!! I had used K9 for a while but it still wasn't quite it, I think this one is a winner and the price is right!!
