i remember i saw rhis video of a guy using a andriod phone and when he pressed the power button to go to the lock screen there was this tv effect and it did look quite cool. so my question is, is this possible to do with an s3?

There is an app called Screen Off and Lock that does that.

i didn't find where to set animations chaos, only size of some animation. bssheedy know any that works with the on and off button?

There was an option on the CM7 ROM to do that....I used it on my old EVO 4G. It was a cool effect.
